Huge Thanksgiving Giveaway and Reuseathon

2013 iRunFar Thanksgiving Giveaway!

By on November 28, 2013 | Comments

Howdy iRunFar readers,

Here at iRunFar we’re stoked to have spent another year with you. Whether it’s sharing stories, providing insight and information, or covering the most competitive races in the world, it’s a pleasure to share trail running and ultrarunning with so many. Thank you for reading, commenting, and supporting us along the way.

Update: We’ve now launched a second contest with more than 110 prizes and a third contest with nearly 200 items!

How to Support iRunFar at No Cost

If you’re thankful for what iRunFar does, we’d like to share a short and simple reminder as you enter into the holiday shopping season. That is, you can easily provide iRunFar with financial support–now or at any time throughout the year–without it costing you a thing by making your Amazon.com or Backcountry.com purchases after clicking through the respective company’s link in this article, on the Help Support iRunFar page linked at the top of iRunFar, or in the case of Amazon.com – in iRunFar.com’s sidebar. (If you’re in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, or the UK, we have Amazon links by which you, too, can support iRunFar.)

Without paying a penny more, you support iRunFar when you make purchases by going through these links. (BTW, you have to add the item to your cart after clicking through the iRunFar link.) We’re happy to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks again for your support!

Ps. Please consider spreading word about how others can easily support iRunFar.

Go a Step Further

If you want to go a step further in showing your support of iRunFar, consider making a donation. We now even have an automatic monthly donation method for the most ambitious (and generous) of you. Your donations help us pay our writers, cover more races, and give back to you. For example, we’re giving away dozens of items below at our own expense. That’s how we roll here at iRunFar.

Huge Thanksgiving Giveaway!

So… we’re giving away a ton of gear and goodies as a way to say thank you to all of you. We also think it’s right to put good gear to its highest possible (i.e., intended) use. Most of the goods in the giveaway are brand new. Some are lightly used. If an item has been lightly used, we’ve noted as much next to the item below. Lightly used items may have a touch of dirt on them, but they show no wear and we’d be happy to welcome equivalently used goods into our lives.

To enter, all you need to do is complete the contact information (name, email, and address) and put a check next to the items in which you are interested by December 9. That’s it.

(To be eligible for prizes, you must fill out the contact information completely. We will use this information only to contact and ship items to winners. It will not be used for marketing or other purposes.)

Yes, this contest is open to everyone. Everywhere. Period.

We’ll limit prizes to one per person to spread the love.

[Editor’s Note: The contest is now closed.]
