In the last person standing race, Michael Carson won ahead of second-place assist Benjamin Niebla with 145 laps and 204.5 miles.

Call for Comments

New Year’s Eve road races are popular in Europe. Trail runners Jan Torrella (Spain) and Hannes Namberger (Germany) ran 15:11 at Spain’s Sant Silvestre de Berga 5k and 15:09 at Germany’s Aschauer Vorsilvesterlauf 5k, respectively. Namberger’s race was a few days before New Year’s Eve, but what other European trail runners took to the road to finish the year?
