On Cloudsurfer Trail – Men’s & Women’s: $160

With the On Cloudsurfer Trail, the brand takes its successful Cloudsurfer shoe from pavement to dirt. The brand tweaked its computer-optimized CloudTec Phase cushioning for off-road conditions and added a lugged Missiongrip rubber outsole for improved traction.

The 7-millimeter drop shoe has wet-weather protection, soft upper materials, and a layer of Helion superfoam in the midsole to act as a shock absorber on uneven terrain.

Saucony x REI Co-op Peregrine 14 – Men’s & Women’s: $140

The Saucony Peregrine 14 is the latest in this proven line of shoes, and this model has only small changes from the previous edition. However, this exclusive colorway is part of a larger collaboration between Saucony and REI, which includes windbreakers and is available in women’s and men’s versions.

The Peregrine 14 has a fresh sockliner for increased comfort and protection from debris and a softer blend of its PWRRUN cushioning to protect from hard landings. It keeps the 4-millimeter drop of previous models and the brand’s grippy PWRTRAC outsoles. The five-millimeter lugs are spaced in a wide, multidirectional layout, providing plenty of traction on mixed surfaces.

Hoka Speedgoat 5 — Men’s & Women’s: $155

The Hoka Speedgoat 5 is another great update to an already popular, high-performing trail shoe. Hoka overhauled the Speedgoat’s material, from outsole to laces, with the standout upgrade being the new Traction Lug design paired with the tried-and-true Vibram Megagrip outsole material. The shoe retains the same stack height, 4-millimeter drop, and rocker profile as the Speedgoat 4 but weighs half an ounce less and features a lighter CMEVA midsole compound.

Other features include a double-layered mesh upper, sockliner, protective toe rand, and extended heel tab.

Janji Pace & Groundwork Bras: From $54

These are two breathable, supportive bras with two different styles.

The Janji Pace Sports Bra provides plenty of support in a stylish package. It has removable padded inserts, and the light compression with slight encapsulation offers plenty of support for running. The smooth Groundwork fabric in both bra styles is moisture-wicking and breathable, and an interwoven strap design distributes pressure across the shoulders. A power mesh lining adds breathability and targeted support.

With a different cut, the Janji Groundwork Long Bra has many of the same features and fabrics as the Pace Sports Bra, including the same Groundwork fabric and removable inserts. The nylon stretch provides support and helps with shape retention. This racerback design has wide shoulder straps and an internal elastic band for a close fit and a high level of support. Made for workouts and runs, it can double as a crop top while running errands.

REI Co-Op On the Trail Cap: $33

Trucker hats are fine, but the REI Co-Op On the Trail Cap can keep your head more comfortable and protected. This cap is made to fit close to your head, wick sweat, and protect from the sun over your entire head, maybe even that bald spot. The polyester material has laser-cut vents to allow more airflow, and an internal sweatband will keep stinging sweat from your eyes. A bendy brim will protect your face from the sun while making it easy to toss this cap into a pack, and a bungee closure with cordlock that can be adjusted on the fly lets you tighten everything down if the wind picks up.

Salomon Active Skin 12 Hydration Vest: $130

Our favorite large-capacity hydration vest, the Salomon Active Skin 12 Hydration Vest, is designed for ultra distances. It comes with two 500-milliliter soft flasks that tuck securely into vest straps, and it can also hold a 1.5-liter bladder.

Salomon’s Sensifit construction leads to a low-profile vest that fits snugly while allowing for freedom of movement. Because everything can be tightened down, you won’t have to deal with swaying or water sloshing around while covering dozens of miles. The 12-liter capacity includes nine pockets for stashing snacks, layers, and more.

Other noteworthy features are the lightweight fabric and easy-adjust sternum straps. This hydration vest also pairs with the brand’s pole quiver (sold separately).

Thule Urban Glide 3 Stroller: $650

We don’t stop running because we have children in tow, and the Thule Urban Glide 3 Stroller makes it easy to get out with kids. It has a swivel front wheel, which locks in place when desired, and larger rear wheels for stability and maneuverability. The handlebar is adjustable and has a hand brake to help control speed on downhills.

A reclining seat can set a child into a sitting or napping position, and a five-point harness will keep them safely secure. A leg rest optimizes comfort.

For storage, the stroller has a cargo basket with a zip-top cover, a rear pocket, and two mesh compartments for stashing toys or snacks. Perhaps its best feature is that it can fold down one-handed, and it also has a self-standing feature, making it easier to store at home or in transit.
