Dakota Jones and Matt Hart Pre-2011 Hardrock 100 Interview

When two guys spend five weeks living together in a house in a small mountain town, it’s only natural that they be interviewed together… and so it is that I joined Dakota Jones and Matt Hart (both of Montrail) for an informal chat at their house prior to the 2011 Hardrock 100. Hear about their training, what they’re looking forward to at Hardrock, and their mountain town life in Silverton.
It’s worth noting that there’s plenty of color in this very casual interview. I mean, where else can you hear Dakota talk about booty shorts and tan lines.

Bryon, thanks for the great pre-race videos. And the Peaches and Cream bits (plus other post-interview bonus features on other videos) are awesome.
Before seeing this video, I was jealous that I wasn’t hanging out in Silverton with you guys, however, now after seeing it, your body language, gestures, and obvious chemistry, it’s a good thing you guys were alone. I’m very happy for you guys!

It was a SUPER relaxed interview. What you might not be able to tell is that we actually set those chairs up in the middle of a street in Silverton and had not car disturbance in the 10 minutes we chatted!
