Where the Road Ends: A Guide to Trail RunningWe think the five brands in today’s Where the Road Ends: A Guide to Trail Running Launch Week contest are a natural fit. Once again, we’ll have two winners, one woman and one man. This time, they’ll both win prizes from Altra, UltrAspire, Injinji, VFuel, and BUFF.

As we are holding these contests to celebrate the launch of Where the Road Ends perhaps you’ll check out the book. Also, feel free to spread the word about the book however you feel comfortable!

AltraLeading off today’s contest is Altra, a company best know for its zero-drop shoes with a foot-shaped toe box. However, Altra has recently started making apparel that brings the company’s unique perspective to a wider array of running products. We’re excited that Altra will be providing a full set of the following to one woman and one man.

UltrAspire logoIt seems only natural to pair Altra with its fellow Utah-based brethren UltrAspire. UltrAspire’s founder Bryce Thatcher has been designing hydration equipment for decades and hasn’t let up one bit. Both winners will get to try UA’s Alpha 2.0, a hydration pack that’s great for a wide variety of uses, and the Isomeric Pocket, a handheld hydration solution with additional on-hand storage.

VFuelVFuel is also hooking up both winners with a box of VFuel Endurance Gels, based on its Vi Endurance Formula and with flavors ranging from Peach Cobbler to Maple Bacon (along with more standard flavors), and VFuel Ultra Endurance Drink Mix.

Injinji logo - horiztonalInjinji has long had a following in the trail running world and that’s not changed a bit. For the unfamiliar, Injinji makes “toe socks,” that is running socks with individual pockets for each toe with the benefit of fewer toe blisters. This contest’s winners will receive one pair each of Injinji’s Trail Midweight Micro, Mini-Crew, and Crew toe socks.

BUFF logoBUFF invented the “tubular headwear category” and, in fact, people regularly call all products in the category “Buffs.” Still, there’s only one “Original BUFF,” and both of the contest’s winners will get one.
