Come Join the To The Moon Virtual Relay!

To The Moon Virtual RelayCome join the iRunFar team and countless others around the world as we try to collectively run and walk to the Moon as part of the To The Moon Virtual Relay from Monday, June 29 through Sunday, July 5, the day of a full moon. This is a free, week-long event with the communal goal of covering a combined 238,900 miles (384,500km), the average distance from the Earth to the Moon.

Along the way, we’ll tally your and other relay participants’ distance for those seven days with the hope of virtually covering this huge expanse. It’s an audacious challenge, but with your help and the power of the global running community, we think we can make it!

During registration (did we mention that it’s free?!), you’ll be able to set a personal distance goal for the week. Once the event begins, we’ll publish individual progress trackers for each entrant that will contain your name, mileage goal, and all the workouts you’re logging for the week. This way, you… and your friends can keep you motivated. Of course, we’ll also be tracking our cumulative progress to the Moon.

Sign up now and join us in a few weeks as we make our way to the moon! And while you’re at it, get your friends and family to join in. This mission needs as many members as it can find!
