Petzl Myo Headlamp Safety Warning

September 23, 2008 by Bryon Powell · 4 Comments

Hey folks, iRunFar wants to let you know that Petzl has issued a safety warning for all its Myo-series headlamps manufactured before June 2008. Petzl warns users not to use AA/LR6 rechargeable batteries in Myo headlamps unless the battery case is engraved “rechargeable battery compatible.” Apparently, the potentially higher current in these batteries can lead [...]

Someone's Timely Unilateral Vermont Withdrawal Xposed Yesterday – Zoinks!

June 21, 2007 by Bryon Powell · 3 Comments

You guessed it, that someone was me. That’s right, I officially withdrew from the Vermont 100 yesterday. It’s been the plan for a while now, but I hadn’t pulled the trigger. Admittedly, my run at Laurel Highlands the other weekend briefly had me considering running VT, but I will choose the wise path and wait [...]
