2012 IAU 100k World Championship Live Coverage

April 21, 2012 by Bryon Powell · 4 Comments

ChampionshipThe 2012 IAU 100k World Championship started at8:30 am local time on Sunday, April 22nd in Seregno, Italy. Meghan Hicks of iRunFar livecasted the event on iRunFar’s Twitter feed, while we pulled together other useful feeds and held a discussion about the race here on iRunFar moderated by Bryon Powell. Tell you friends. Join the discussion. Enjoy.

Here are a couple resources to help you follow the race:

  • iRunFar’s IAU 100k World Championship preview
  • Pre-race interview with Team USA’s Michael Wardian and Meghan Arbogast
  • The IAU and Race websites with the entrants list (xlsx)

If you enjoy iRunFar’s live coverage from Italy or all-night moderation Stateside, please considering making a donation. Just $5 will get Meghan a nice glass of wine in Italy, while $10 will get me a pound of decent coffee here in the US. A larger donation would help support our travel to cover races near and far.

Kiannis can fiocus no other. I was lucky enough to run with him twice at Olander Park. What a wonderful thing that he is still competing with the world’s in his fifties. Rock on Yiannis! Peace. Robin Fry in stevensville montana

Excellent, Spud. Notes like yours help me stay up through the night. “… and kilometers to go before I sleep.”
