2012 Bandera 100k Coverage

January 6, 2012 by Bryon Powell · 11 Comments

[We've now posted 2012 Bandera 100k results and reports.] As I mentioned earlier in the week, I’ll be covering the Bandera 100k live from Texas on Saturday beginning 7:30 a.m. CST. Per usual, I’ll be broadcasting on iRunFar’s Twitter feed so be sure to follow that. In addition, we’ll be pulling multiple sources together here on iRunFar in the CoverItLive box below. Note that unlike the biggest races we cover, there will not be a moderated discussion via CoverItLive (i.e, you can’t comment directly on CIL), but feel free to comment away as you would on other iRunFar articles.

Bandera 100KHere are a couple resources for those following the race:

  • Race website
  • iRunFar’s 2012 Bandera 100k preview
  • Pre-race video interview with Dave Mackey
  • Karl Meltzer’s Bandera odds
  • Entrants list
  • Bandera weather

Is there any way to find out where a runner is right now? Not an emergency…just a mom. Wondering where #258 is at…Neal Frank.

Brilliant as usual Bryon – perfect reception all
the way to Canterbury, UK. It’s almost better than
being there – but not quite! Roger

A BIG THANK YOU! GREAT JOB! A friend ran the 25K. This was the next best thing to being there.

Thanks to all for following along and to many of your for your kind words. I had a blast covering the race and it’s always a pleasure to share it with you. Can’t wait for the next one… should be the Chuckanut 50k in March.
