Geoff Roes UROC 100k Champion Interview

September 27, 2011 by Bryon Powell · 7 Comments

After winning UROC Geoff Roes joked that I hadn’t interviewed him after a victory in a while. In fact, it hadn’t happened since Western States last year. Although he’s won plenty of races since then, this one had to be a gratifying win. Roes also shared that it was satisfying in that he bounced back from 5 or 6 rough spells on the way to the win. In the following interview, Geoff gives us an in-depth look at his race.

I love your interviews, they make me laugh but in a very good way, its your enthusiasm, its brilliant. Nice to know that the elites have ups and downs just like the rest of us…..Keep up the great work.

Congratulations to Geoff on a great win. Wonder how Andy Henshaw or Matt Carpenter would have fared in this race.
