I’m up at the check in of the 2011 Trail Runner Ultra Race of Champions (UROC) 100k and was fortunate to catch up with Geoff (Montrail) again this racing season. Fortunately, we still had some interesting things left to chat about such as his DNF at UTMB, how he went from ending his racing season to coming back a month later to race UROC, his pre-race philosophy, and his thoughts about tomorrow’s race, which we’ll be covering both on Twitter and on iRunFar.com itself via CoverItLive (like UTMB).

Here’s our UROC men’s preview if you’ve not checked it out yet.
