How to Finish Top 10 at Western States

November 15, 2010 by Bryon Powell · 4 Comments

With the Western States lottery opening over the weekend those who can come up with $370 and enter might be thinking about how to skip the lottery for Western States 2012 if they are so fortunate as to gain a spot in 2011 edition race. It’s easy… just finish top 10 in your gender. Since we like to help you out, we found a man with an on-going streak of six straight top 10 finishes to his name. That’d be Andy Jones-Wilkins. Here are his tips for finishing Top 10 at Western States.

[Note: The delusional reporter has since rescinded any statements regarding himself and top 10 at the 2011 Western States 100.]

I love Andy’s obvious passion for running and competing at the level that he does at Western States! You have to root for a guy like that!

Jizzle Wizzle is the rizzle dizzle. One of the coolest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of running with… which is why I’ve paced him at 4 100 milers.
