Two nights before the 2010 Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc we caught up with Kilian Jornet, two-time defending champion, to discuss the upcoming race. Here’s our interview.

    Thanks Bryon.

I had to crack up however that after the interview was an advertisement for a six dollar burger that fed a Lego Godzilla in Philly.

Thanks for the interview. Besides being a great runner; I’m impressed with him Killian being able to do an interview in a non-native language!

Tony, Kilian’s English has improved leaps and bounds in the past 11 months. He and I couldn’t converse much in any language at the end of last September during his run of the Tahoe Rim Trail…. and, yesterday, he was translating some of his Salomon teammates’ French or Spanish into English at a Salomon press conference!

Yeah, and his French is much better than his English!
        Thanks for the interview.

Did he really say that he trained 35 hours the week before a 100 mile mountain race? The guy is a mutant. Get him a coach and water bottle!
