iRunFar Store Expands to Include Salomon Exo Products

August 18, 2010 by Bryon Powell · 1 Comment

[Update: We continue to add a growing variety of Salomon Exo apparel items to the iRunFar Store.]

We’ll keep this brief, but we wanted to let you know that the iRunFar Store has added its first two non-iRunFar branded items and that we’re quite excited about them. We’ve got a very limited quantity of two Salomon Exo compression apparel pieces. These items are not available anywhere else… and we’re not exaggerating. The predecessors to these products… they’ve never been available in the US. Sooo…. the iRunFar exclusive products are the Salomon Exo IV Calf and the Salomon Exo SLAB II Short M.

Salomon Exo Calf and SLAB shortsThe Salomon Exo Calf IV is the latest (or should we say upcoming) generation of Salomon’s compression calf sleeve. Not content to rest on their laurels, the Salomon team continues to improve the product every year. We find the fit on this product to be great. For more info and to purchase, check out the Salomon Exo IV Calf in the iRunFar Store.

At its most basic, the Salomon Exo SLAB II Short M is a pair of compression shorts. However, that’s like calling Western States or UTMB “a run in the woods.” Right. These shorts are as-good-as-it-gets racing bottoms. Sure, we’d wear them for training or recovery, too, but they are designed with high performance in mind. Our favor non-compression feature is the three rear external mesh pockets and one larger front external mesh pocket. In combination, these four pockets can hold up to 10 gels that sit high enough on your waist and firm enough against your body not to bounce. These pockets mean you can make it between any two aid stations, so long as you’ve got enough water. Now that’s traveling fast and light. Read more about or purchase the Salomon Exo SLAB II Short M in the iRunFar store.

That’s it from us, except that you should know we have extremely limited quantities of these products (we received 15 of each the calf sleeves and the shorts). If you’re interested, you’d best order now!

I just received a pair of S-LAB II shorts sized medium this afternoon.. Measuring from the thickest part of the quad is just below the crotch, or between the crotch & knee? The medium fit, but I’m short 5’6″ (150lbs) and the bottom is just above the knee.
