Helen Cospolich Pre-Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc 2010 Interview

August 26, 2010 by Bryon Powell · 6 Comments

Bryon Powell of iRunFar catches up with Helen Cospolich before the 2010 Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc. Helen lives in Breckenridge, Colorado, a perfect mountain training for UTMB. She won the relatively flat Leadville 100 in 2008, but is even better on big climbs as her course record at the Collegiate Peaks 50 Mile would suggest. Here’s the interview.

I enjoyed the interview! I especially liked the discussion about trekking poles. Bryon could we see a piece on trekking poles in the near future? It would be much appreciated as I’d like to get a pair. Thanks.

Tony, as I recently had an article on trekking poles published in Trail Runner Magazine, I’ll hold off on publishing one on iRunFar for a little while as a courtesy to the magazine.

Bryon’s trekking-poles article is in the June 2010 issue of Trail Runner. Thanks.
