That's a bummer that you can't find a retailer for the tights. The compression sleeves (Exo Calf) is not yet available in the US, but should be available next year. Same goes for the Reelax shoe. Look for them in February, I think.

I agree that the MT 100 are well priced. I'm waiting for a couple injuries to clear up before I try them out again.

Bryon, thanks for the post. I just got a hold of a pair of the NB MT100's and can't wait to use them at the upcoming Tecumseh trail marathon in Indiana.

Wondering if anyone else has a similar beef with Salomon. They release all kinds of great looking products but it seems impossible to obtain them. I have yet to find a retailer for the 3/4 tights, compresion sleeves or several other items.
I'd love to buy a pair of their new apres-running shoes but their is no telling when they might be available.

I applaud New Balance for making the new Mt100's priced to sell. I was able to pick them up for just over 50 bucks with discounts and free shipping. Just a hair over the cheapest price I found for 790's!

Actually, it would take about 907L of water to weigh a ton. 20L would only weigh 44#. I joke only because I thought the same thing when I read about the 20L capacity.

Jeremy, Osprey's Manta isn't some new desert crossing setup. It's got 20 liters of cargo capacity… not a 20 liter bladder. They already make a Talon 22 liter pack with a hydration sleeve, but the new Hydraulics series will be their first to include a hydration bladder and it will be a proprietary design to boot.
