Kilians Quest SalomonWith little over a week until Catalan’s Kilian Jornet runs the Tahoe Rim Trail, we’re getting pretty excited here at iRunFar. As each new detail filters in, the journey becomes a little more real. Just this morning we learned that Kilian will start his trek in Tahoe city and run clockwise around Lake Tahoe. While we don’t know exactly when Jornet will start kicking up Sierra trail dust, he’ll begin running on Monday, September 28, and will hopefully finish the next evening. We intend to provide at least one final update before Kilian starts his watch and then bring you a wrap up when it’s all over. If logistics cooperate, we’ll publish an update on iRunFar during Kilian’s run, if not we’ll try to keep you informed on Twitter (follow @iRunFar) and let you know of others who’ll be covering the event live. In the mean time, check out Kilian’s Quest Episode 7: Go West Young Man, a video interview in which this Salomon runner discusses his upcoming run of the TRT. For more details on the run, read our announcement of Kilian’s TRT run.
