Damn straight, Meissner. I had to work hard after we peaked out not to be fifth chick. I'll loose to Megan and Caitlin any day on a sub-marathon mountain run… and quite possibly any other race.

What's worse than being chicked? Being fatboyed… and that's happened to some notable runners of late. ;-)

Thanks, Jon. I know all about that doozy up the side of Jupiter Peak, as I ran the race in either '05 or '06. I spent both summers in Park City and made a couple trips to the top. I don't planning on "racing" JPS in the proper sense, but I'll get in a good workout.

Have fun and good luck in Park City, Bryon. Kick some butt, but watch out for the last 1/4 mile of the climb- it's a doozy.

I was hoping to run it, as well, but it looks like I will be heading on a business trip to Florida. Bummer. Rather run in the mountains any day.
