Payro, Hal did have one of the best runs in WS history. It was also the start of a new era. Both overseas and East Coast competitors made their presence known.

Do say hi if you see me at l'annescime. I'll likely be wearing my iRunFar.com hat… but if not I'll be with a group of American media types. Should be easy to find.

Well, my guy Benoit kinda crapped out, but it was pretty cool to see a couple of non-N.A. guys come in second and third. But mostly you have to appreciate the performance by Hal, really great stuff. Lots of pressure, lots of competitors, lots of heat, and he manned up and did his job. Really impressive.

Bryon, I'll keep an eye out for you at L'annecime; after following WS, there's no way you can't be stoked up for your next race!

Wow! Being a Data/Stats junkie this was a fun post. Lots of cool info.

Congrats on getting AJW across in the finish line in the nick of time for his 10th place male finish.

It was amazing watching all the big names drop throughout the day, really messed up my Men's predictions with a total of 59 points, the women's race held up well as I think I only got 7 points for them.

Whatever I don't know how it will work for me, I had fever yesterday and the day before, and I was very tired.

It seems better tonight, I have been here two times including last year... I hope to runn and give the best !

Oddly enough, neither his name nor yours is on the list of participants at L'annecime (http://www.annecime.fr/inscription_ok.pdf). The problem with their list, however, is that it doesn't say how recently it's been updated. I suspect it may be out of date.
