Fleet Feet – Bend

February 19, 2008 by Bryon Powell · Leave a Comment

My buddy and ultra-stud Sean Meissner will be managing a new Fleet Feet store being opened in Bend, Oregon this April by his fellow stud ultramarathoner, Rod Bien. While I obviously I have no basis to compliment a store that hasn’t opened yet, I can safely say that with Meissner and Bien in charge this store will be more attuned to the needs of trail runners and ultramarathoners than even most running specialty shops. Sean has assured me that they’ll have an above average selection of trail shoes on hand. For those who don’t know Sean, he’s a first-class shoe geek and has previously managed a running store. Rod’s relevant experience includes owning a Patagonia store in Bend. Between Sean and Rod’s love of trail running and relevant experience, Fleet Feet – Bend will definitely be worth checking out.

For more, read the grand opening press release over and Sean’s blog. You can also check out the Fleet Feet – Bend website.

Anyway, be sure to stop by Fleet Feet whenever you’re in Bend!
