Ok, now that the deed is done, I can expand upon yesterday’s post. On only a couple days notice after my planting a crazy idea in her head and no run longer than 13 miles, my superstar sister ran her first marathon today. And not only did she run her first marathon… but she did it on trails. On really icy/really muddy (depending where you were) trails. And the “marathon” was actually 28 miles!

Way to go Gretch!

Gretchen and me with less than a mile to go.

Gretchen just finished! Way to go sis. :-D

A smiling sister with her very proud brother after the race.
