In Ireland, my resources are IMRA – the Irish Mountain Running Association http://www.imra.ie/. Probably my most valuable discovery while here. Its a cool organization with weekly races, great people and loads of information.

Thank you for having such a GREAT website for the ultra running community. I have found tons of helpful information as I continue training for the buffalo run. With the information i have found and put into place iRunFar but with a little time and solid training iRunFarther. Thanks.

    Hey there, Bryon!
I am an endurance runner, married with for children, who, believe it or not, has a bit of time to kill, and I'm looking for an adventure to kick off the season The Zion 100 in Southern Utah is happening April 4th and 5th and I'm doing it! This place is so incredible that I'd like to get the word out so you might contemplate doing it too! I'd also love feedback!
With a good running base, you have plenty of time to work out logistics, stuff those drop bags and pack your things for an epic adventure.
You'll run adjacent to the amazing Zion National Park, climbing onto five mesas with stunning views of the southern Utah desert. Finishers receive handcrafted belt buckles made from materials gathered on the course.
100 miles too long? Then go for the 50k or 100k. What's free?…pizza, group camping and river floats for runners. And be sure to save some time to tour the area and visit the Narrows.
Whether your first 100 or just looking for a last-minute adventure (like I am), I highly recommend the Z100 with about 12,000' of elevation gain. If not, keep it in mind for next year!! Visit&nbsp ;http://ultra-adventures.com/ for information. Registration closes April 1, 11:59PM
I would love any tips or suggestions for running 100 miles or what to put in my drop bags that I haven't thought of already! Thanks… and hope to see you out there!"
